Zinc-copper alloy (platine) is a zinc alloy with copper as the main alloying element, has a yellow metallic luster and good corrosion resistance. The main grades are ZnCu1.5, ZnCu1.2, ZnCu1, ZnCu0.3 and so on. Adding copper can improve strength, hardness and impact toughness, but reduce plasticity and casting fluidity, generally should be controlled in the range of 1% to 7%. Prepared by melting method. Mainly used to manufacture rolled and extruded products, can be used as H68, H70 and other brass substitutes for the manufacture of zippers, thousands of locks and other daily-use hardware and so on.
