Advantages

1、Excellent machining performance:

The alloy can be used at higher cutting speeds and deeper draft for cutting, chips are easy to break, the wear on the tool and 60/40 brass is comparable, the finish and precision of the machined parts is high, the machining efficiency reaches more than 75% of the lead brass, and the parallel docking of the existing brass machining process is no obstacle. Blank parts do not require special treatment, can be directly plated or passivated.
2、Good surface treatment effect:
Adapt to a variety of plating processes, copper plating, nickel plating, chromium, tin, silver and ternary alloys, etc. can be, the finished product is no pockmarks, bubbles, surface finish and copper plating finished product is very similar to the neutral salt spray test for 48 hours without significant corrosion phenomenon, the plating yield of up to 98% or more.
3, cold working performance close to lead brass:
Mechanical properties close to or even exceed the lead brass, compressive strength 400 ~ 470 MPa, hardness 100-140 HV, elongation 15-24%. Cold bending 90 degrees without wrinkles 220 ℃ - 26 red punch easy to form without cracking no air holes without sand holes, torsion test can reach most of the industry standard requirements.
3, good conductivity:
Conductivity is similar to H62, conductivity > 28% (IACS), more than ordinary H59 and other lead brass, in the electronics, electrical, electrical and other industries have a broad application prospects.
4, cost-effective:
The material price is only about 60% of HPb59-1, and the material specific gravity is only about 70% of HPb59-1. Using fast cutting extruded zinc-aluminum alloy material, the cost of the same finished workpiece is only equivalent to 40% of the cost of lead brass. In the harsh economic environment in 2009, the large-scale promotion and application of fast-cutting extruded zinc-aluminum alloy will greatly alleviate the financial pressure on enterprises and enhance the comprehensive competitiveness of products.
5、Environmentally friendly materials, easy to cope with the environmental requirements of various countries:
SGS authoritative report shows that the fast-cutting special zinc-aluminum alloy, cadmium (cd) <10ppm, lead (Pb) <50ppm, other harmful substances such as mercury (Hg), hexavalent chromium (Cr6+), polybrominated biphenyls (PBB), polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE) are not detected, which is fully in line with the environmental standards of RoSH.
